3 Website Traffic Methods that you can Bank On

Hello everyone,

I don’t have much time today because it is 80 degrees here in Texas and I know 80 degrees means 100 is not too far away. That being said, I will get to the point so I can get outside and enjoy the weather!

Over the last several posts I have been promoting some options for you to get a membership site up and running. I believe whether you are a small business or mid size business, having a paid membership site is a great way to add a passive income stream to your business.

Today, however, I want to talk to you about traffic. Yes, web traffic to your site. Unfortunately, if you build it, they will not just come. You have to have a strategy and plan to get web traffic.

I know you have pobably heard of SEO (search engine optimization) and if not SEO is a way to rank high in the search engines. For most of us SEO is not a great strategy to get traffic. SEO can be costly and timely. Also, as you may have heard in the news recently Google changed the way they rank content overnight. For some all their hard work is now down the drain. Now, I am not saying ignore it completely I am just saying you could spend hours on it and get little ROI (return on investment). So what can you do?

Here are three website traffic methods you can bank on that won’t break your bank:

1.) Buyandsellads.com – Buy ads on over 2,900 successful blogs! Just pick the site you want to advertise on, and within minutes your ad will be shown

2.) Stumbleupon.com – Another place you can buy cheap ads that will drive users who are looking for similar content directly to your site.

3.) Tubemogul.com – Create videos and submit them to over 30 video hosting sites at once. A video syndication account is free.

Bonus method

Facebook – I am sure I do not need to tell you how big Facebook is. Let me tell you, if you are not using FB to advertise your site then you are losing out. Facebook is a marketer’s best dream. FB allows you to dial right in to your target audience. For example, I use it to advertise my Working Mom Workouts membership site. I target women who are ages 32-45,  have kids ,with health and fitness as theie interest. And the best part is on go do this locally or go global with no extra cost. Tell me where else can you do that!!

So, once you have your site up and running go ahead and focus on the traffic methods I provided for you. If you have questions please feel free to contact me.

How to build your own paid membership site

Have you been thinking about building your own paid membership site? If not, you should, because it is one way to help build a tribe of followers, and it also allows you to create a passive revenue stream for your business. Now, there are two ways you can go about building a membership site. One ,is the traditional method where you create a website, continuously load it up with content, and get clients and other people to join. I know what you are thinking, “Way too much work and why would anyone want to join.” I agree, but I found a better approach to a membership site.

Several months ago I was introduced to a guy named Jimmy D. Brown and his concept of building a “fixed term membership site.” Essentially, what “fixed term” means is you decide how long the membership lasts. Jimmy states, that most people stay on average between 3-4 months as a member of a site. So, in order to make them feel more comfortable about joining, you give them a time frame. By having a time frame your clients will know that they will not be adding another monthly recurring bill to their credit card and when the term is over they are done. Also, a fixed term membership site helps you manage your time and effort. When you create a fixed term site ,you do not have to add a bunch of content all at once, but instead add content on a weekly basis. Once the initial work is done all you have to do is get subscribers to join and begin to see a passive income stream develop.

Okay, I know there are tons of  questions going on in your mind, so take a look at my membership site Working Mom Workouts and see how I am focusing on a niche, Working Moms, and  how I send workouts to them once they join.

Now that you had a chance to see my site it is time for you to considered what you can do. Here are some questions you need to ask yourself to get you started brainstorming for your fixed term membership site:

  • First, what are you passionate about?
  • What are you the best at (Expert)?
  • Is there a market for that?
  • Do I have 5-10 hours a week to devote to building a site?
  • Will I see the project through completion?

These are just a few questions to ask yourself to get you on the path towards your own fixed term membership site. Obviously, there is more that goes into starting up a site, but that is far too extensive to get into in one blog post. If you are interested in learning more about how to set up your own membership you can go through my coaching program where I can walk you through step by step and help have your membership site up in less than 48 hours form when we speak!

20 minute Pay Day

Who needs the Four Hour work week when you can have the 20 minute pay day. What am I talking about you ask. Well, in the last month I have had the opportuntiy to venture out on my own and create a new future for me and my family. Throughout this past month I have been researching, developing, and now promoting products to you. Last week I put a post up promoting a product that I purchased that helps you sell informational products on Ebay. I am happy to announce that I will be putting my first product up for sell in a week or so. Now, this past week I found another product in which I think can really help you develop a passive income stream. The name of the product is called 20 minute pay day. I found that the bonuses are well worth the $37 cost to the product. The other benefit to this product is it simplifies how you can create an informational product and start making money. Here is the email to go with this product and if at anytime you want to return it you can.

All I can saw is WOW…

I am so glad that I was able to tell you
about such a cool offer-

I just heard that “20 Minute Payday,”
has been averaging OVER 10 SALES PER MINUTE
for almost 24 hours straight…
(with no signs of slowing down)

Russll wasn’t quite anticipating this.
They are getting some terrific feedback from
everyone.

to his senses and charges what he really SHOULD be charging.

Part II of 7 tips to getting more personal training clients

Yesterday, I presented to you the first three of the seven tips to getting more personal training clients. So, today I am going to give you two tips that could be the most important money making tips for your personal training business. Yes, I believe these next two tips will separate you from everyone else. Okay here is tip number 4 and 5.

4.) Create a blog- by now everyone has heard of blogs but not everyone has one and contributes regularly to it. The reason having a blog is so important is that you create a platform to share information, articles, and ideas about who you are and what you believe in. Now this is not a “how to start a blog post” but if you want some great info or program to create your blog then you need to check out Darrren Rowse’s 31 days to Build a Better Blog Click here to view more details. Once you have your blog set up make sure all your clients subscribe to it and tell them that you will post regularly to it. The number one goal is to provide valuable content that adds value to the relationship you have with your clients.

5.) Write an ebook – It has never been easier to write a book. The technology we have today allows you to write your own book and self publish it. You can make it an e-book or a traditional hardback and market and distribute it online. Writing an e-book will do two things for you. One, you will be recognized as an expert and gain tremendous credibility. The second benefit will be that you now can gain new clients with out even training. You essentially will have created another passive income stream while not having to wake up at 6 am to train. Once again this is not a “how to” article on writing an ebook but if you want more info on that email me at Dave@DaveMcGarry.com and I will consult with you on how to get started. Now, since I believe in leading by example you can check out my ebook at www.anatomyofsales.com . Good luck and start writing.
