Have you heard of Facebook Webinars?

I know most of you at some point in the last few months have either been on a webinar or has had someone invite you to a webinar. Also, you have probably heard all the buzz about automated webinars. Now, I have to admit I have been struggling with what webinar system I want to use to promote my www.workingmomworkouts.com , until now.

As most of you who own or run your own business it is not uncommon to be working on Saturday or Sunday. Well, my wife and the kids were out shopping and doing the girly stuff, so I decided to sit down at the computer and read through some emails. I think probably one of the best decisions I have made in a long time and here is why.I follow quite a few internet marketing “gurus” but as of lately I have been real selective on who’s email I actually open up and read. Well, one of the guys who I am following is, Keith Baxter of Affiliate Radio. I am so glad I did because I have now decided on which webinar system I am going to use to promote my products.

Listen, I can not do it justice by writing about it. You need to take the next 30 minutes and turn everything off and go watch it. Here is the link . If you are serious about taking your business to another level and webinars are not part of your marketing strategy, you are going to be losing a lot of money! Plus, when you see how this webinar uses facebook to promote your products or services you are going to flip out! Go check it out NOW!

A XXX Fitness Workout That Will Make Your Knees Weak

Sorry to disappoint but it is not the XXX you are thinking and no, I am not talking about pole dancing classes either! What I am talking about is over the weekend I had the privilege to attend a workshop and be trained as an instructor on the Trixter X bike.

Now, those of you that know me know how much I love to teach indoor cycle. Well, let me tell you, the X bike and the workouts that come along with the training are awesome. It has been a long time since I had such a great workout cycling indoors and I absolutely LOVED working out on the X bike. My quads were on fire and I was dripping with sweat after 30 minutes. If you are a little crazy like me you just love it when you get off totally spent.

Okay, so what I find so unique and different about the X bike is the fact the workout is much more engaging. The X bike is different from other bikes on the market in several ways. First, the X bike does not have a fixed fly wheel. It is set up like a normal bike and the gear shifter adds resistance. Let’s just say you can’t cheat on this bike and after 30 minutes your quads are on fire. Another great aspect that differentiates this bike from others is the fact the handle bars moved from left to right and allow you to engage your core and upper body. The finally aspect is the programming is really unique.

Now, not only is the workout more engaging but the programming is unique. There are three levels starting with the 30 minute X program and working up to the hour long XXX advanced program. I can tell you after experiencing all three programs that each one is unique, different and challenging, which gives beginners to advanced cyclists a great workout.

The final thing that I loved so much about the Trixter X bike is the VRX biking program. If you are a club owner or fitness program director you have got to check this out. The VRX biking is like a virtual ride outdoors. Not only is it a unique and something that differentiates your club and group exercise programming, but it serves another purpose as well. Instead of seeing your cycle room sit empty and only used when you have a class the VRX biking allows you to have the virtual trainer taking members through a routine whenever you want to have the video running. This helps maximum revenue and expense per square foot. Also, as you well know, more and more of the virtual fitness training is where the industry is moving and the VRX biking is a great way to integrate that into your club.

So in conclusion, all I can say is you have to at least try the X bike and see for yourself what I am talking about. If you are an owner or fitness manager and want to learn more about the Trixter bikes feel free to contact me or an independent dealer for more info.

To your success,

10 great happenings from last year cont…

Earlier in the week I posted the 10 Great Happenings from Last Year and today I want to write the second part to that post. Doing this exercise was very rewarding to me because I realized that no matter how bad the economy seemed at times this past year many great things happened in my life. I hope that is true with you as well. If you have never done this exercise I suggest you take 30 minutes out of your day and write down at least 10 great happenings from last year. Okay, here is my list:

1.) Published my first book “Anatomy of Sales”

2.) Launched my website and business www.davemcgarry.com

3.) Took a vacation trip to Sanibel Island with my wife

4.) Sold my first 50 books

5.) Had my first online book purchase on ClickBank

6.) First Family trip to Sea World

7.) Won a four day all paid conference trip to the fitness industries biggest trade show

8.) Promoted to Assistant GM of the Cooper Fitness Center at Craig Ranch

9.) Asked by the publisher of Club Industry to write articles for them in 2010

10.) Took 4 family trips in 2009

Every time I look at this list it makes me feel good because when I look back to what I wanted to accomplish this year I accomplished most of my goals. So, after you have your list of 10 great things the next step is to write down 5  lessons you learned from last year. This exercise will be important towards setting your 2010 goals. Okay, go write down your 5 lessons learned and we will talk about those lessons and how to use that information towards creating your best year ever in 2010.
